We visited Omi and Opa in Charlotte last week. My mom had a party for Mabel, and it was so great to see how everyone(most of whom I either barely know, or had never met before) was so excited about meeting Mabel.

This is Mabel with Vivian, one of my parents' oldest friends from Charlotte.

These are her major pastimes lately.

She was seeming very interested in food, so we've been experimenting a little ...




But sometimes it's not as great as she thinks it will be.

She's been sucking her fingers since she was born, but this week, she really hit her stride, and has become even better at it. It's like she used to just amuse herself with it, but she finally figured out how to calm herself with it.
