Mom Time

So, I was at one of Mabel's playgroups a few weeks ago, and one of the moms commented to another mom "I love those boots." She immediately looked down at her daughter's feet, saw she wasn't wearing boots, and then realized the woman was referring to her boots. It's like we totally forget that we are still people too. I find lately in the rare moments when Mabel's asleep and I don't have anything major on my task list, I sigh at the relief of finally having some free time, and then 5 minutes later realize I have no idea what to do with it. If anyone has any idea - let me know.

She's clapping!

And also standing (sort of)

And she made up a strange game to play with her stacking rings

Funny Mabel Noises

Mabel's First Christmas

Shaking and Nodding

Mabel suddenly learned how to shake her head a few days before Christmas. In her typical way,as soon as I ran for the camera, she decided to stop. I did catch her at this one moment - of course she would only shake when John nodded.
