The Princess Club

I don't know how familiar you are with the Weasel Club, but it is a long-standing very exclusive club of which Frances has been President for several years. She finally decided it was time for Mabel to have a club of her very own so she helped her to create the Princess Club.

Currently there are two members.

And in:
And of of course the head of the princess club must be able to pose at any moment:

And show her lighter, less serious side too

And some random stuff from the past few months

The girls in Charlotte. What a couple of hoodlums!

Mabel is one of the most particular kids on earth, here is the arrangement she made of her snack on the little kitty cat bench/table we have.

Mabel having so much fun on the see-saw, until ...

And with Baby Lux, sometimes referred to as her best friend

One very amazing thing that has happened recently, is Mabel has gotten very good at posing for pictures. Here you see the real Mabel:

Painfully cute:

If you don't have children, you probably find tales of their sleeping habits boring, or even if you are a parent, you may find it boring, but know how central to your life your child's sleeping is. Mabel has been slowly transisitioning away from her nap. It has become harder and harder to get her to take one. She never falls asleep right away any more, and usually has some period of play before finally sleeping. This day was a particularly active session.

And then there was the day she skipped it altogether, only to pass out on the living room floor while I was cooking dinner at 6:45. I can't complain, she stayed asleep all night and I had a peaceful evening for once.

Mabel's School

I don't know if I have told you about Mabel's school, but it is the happiest, most awesome place on earth. She has been there for nearly two years and positively loves it. One of the perks is we have to parent helper days, so here are some photos from the school.

Mabel loves to wear this giraffe costume. Sometimes the kids fight over it, but I think everyone knows it's mostly Mabel's.

And of course, songs!
