First name writing! One morning, out of nowhere, Mabel just decided to write her name. I had been trying to get her to do it at school the other day, with no luck, so I assumed she had no idea. Then, of course totally on her own, with no prompting she did it. To me, the mom, it looks to very clearly say Mabel. Some of you may not be quite so convinced.

One of the great things about working part time is I get more time to just hang with the Mabes and do fun stuff like go to Leaping Lizzards

First trip to the dentist. She was a really trooper! The only trouble she gave them was that she didn't want to put her head on the pillow. No problem with x-rays, teeth cleaning, flossing, just the head on the pillow thing. Typical Mabel!

Los Posados. I have a bazillion pictures, but they all just look like total chaos which is what this event is. It's her school's tradition. This year, they wrangled about 40 1, 2, 3 and 4 year olds walked them down the streets of CAbbagetown, into our tiny local grocery and grill and back to the park for a pinata.
