I just thought this was such funny day. I was trying to get some studying done, and Mabel was being extra fussy. I find that sometimes, there's only one setup that she will find acceptable. I had finally gotten her settled in a somewhat precarious position - resting in the nursing pillow on the couch - when I realized I really had to go to the bathroom.
I was faced with a dilemma - do I move her to a safe place where she will almost undoubtedly wake up again, do I hold it in until she wakes up, or do I risk her safety by leaving her like this while I go pee. I weighed my various priorities: #1 baby safety, #2 my bodily needs, #3 everything else, but somehow decided it was still worth the risk. I went to the bathroom, and luckily Mabel survived and was still happily asleep when I got back. This is what I looked like (no joke!)
